The Role
Are you a mid level accountant, or in finance, eager to broaden your career in a dynamic startup environment? Key Responsibilities
CEO Support: Act as the "right hand" to the CEO, handling day-to-day tasks and acting as a trusted partner.
Credit Financing: Support Head of UA Growth Underwriting in building out of this business. Building models, and handing day-to-day tasks and acting as a trusted partner.
Financial Management: Oversee payroll, bookkeeping, and manage financial forecasting. Assist with budget management and expense tracking. Work on investor updates and reporting.
Legal: Review, draft, and manage legal documents and contracts, liaising with external counsel when needed.
Office Management: Oversee office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality.
Who You Are
Organized & Detail-Oriented: You have exceptional attention to detail and are adept at managing multiple priorities.
Analytical: Strong with numbers, spreadsheets, and data; you enjoy financial forecasting and budgeting.
Legally Savvy: Comfortable with legal documents, contract reviews, and working with external legal teams.
Adaptable: Startup life excites you, and you’re ready to tackle challenges and grow into new responsibilities.
Proactive & Resourceful: You anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and take initiative.
Qualifications
Experience as a junior accountant, or in finance, or a similar role.
Proficiency with accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Strong understanding of payroll and bookkeeping principles.
Experience with legal contracts or corporate governance is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A passion for startups and an eagerness to grow.
