Data Scientist (Barcelona)

The Role:

We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join our Customer Success Team in Barcelona. This is a highly impactful, customer-facing role where you will work directly with gaming clients to help them unlock the full potential of Metica. Reporting to the Director of Customer Success Lead, you will support our clients by analyzing game performance, building AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, and making data more accessible and actionable.

Your work will drive real value for our customers—whether by surfacing insights that enhance monetization, automating reporting with AI agents, or improving data transparency for better decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise, analytical skills, and a customer-centric mindset in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This is an on-site role based in our Barcelona office.

You Will:

• Analyze customer data to generate actionable insights that improve player engagement, monetization, and retention.

• Develop AI agents and automation tools to streamline data workflows and enhance customer decision-making.

• Build intuitive dashboards and data visualizations that make insights accessible to clients.

• Work closely with customer success managers and gaming studios to understand business needs and tailor data-driven solutions.

• Support customers in integrating their data into Metica’s platform and ensure seamless access to insights.

• Conduct forecasting, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

• Optimize reporting processes by automating data extraction, transformation, and delivery.

You Need:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data science, business intelligence, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and AI-driven automation.

• Experience with SQL for querying and managing structured data.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in the gaming industry or a strong personal interest in gaming.

• Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) like Adjust or AppsFlyer.

• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and AI-powered analytics tools.

• Experience with additional programming languages, i.e. Java or Java Script.

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a SaaS or B2B tech company.
